Director Statement

My first time meeting a girlfriend's parents felt pretty alien, so it seemed a natural step to bring it to screen as a Sci-Fi comedy. I hope that beyond the brilliant performances and ridiculous plot of this film, people can also relate to a kid going to absurd lengths in order to feel accepted.
