Director Biography - Hadi Iraqi

Hadi Iraqi, a 18-year-old Moroccan Canadian filmmaker, is currently enrolled in Concordia University's film production program.
As the creator of the YouTube channel "By Hadi," specializing in film and animation, he has gained nearly 25,000 subscribers and 7 million views.
Commencing his foray into filmmaking and animation at a young age, Hadi contributed to international productions as an animator and produced numerous amateur short films.
"The Main Character," his most extensive project to date, was executed on an exceptionally low budget. Hadi fulfilled multiple roles as writer, director, editor, actor, and composer, crafting a 20-minute soundtrack for the film. The year-long production unfolded entirely within his high school, Al Jabr, in Casablanca.
The film garnered recognition with a successful screening organized by the school in June 2023, drawing an audience of over 500 attendees.
