Delta
A study of change. A philosophical discourse. A coming-of-age story.
Siddhartha is a working professional who once had the dreams of becoming a footballer. Certain events lead him to mull over the college life he once had and how the change of time affected the changes in him as an individual. He questions and investigates theories of famous philosophers and yearns for balance as he takes a sip of coffee with his blind date in a cozy café.

OFFICIAL SELECTION
Ravish Pathan has been an avid movie-goer since his childhood. He is currently pursuing engineering but he finds time to feed his passion of screenwriting and filmmaking. He hopes to make a transition from a passive audience member to an active filmmaker with his attempts of small, micro-budget short films. His first short film 'The Tap Story' was nominated at the Asia's largest environment film festival. He's greatly influenced by filmmakers like Christopher Nolan, Anand Gandhi, Martin Scorsese, Satyajit Ray amongst others. He wants to live rest of his life watching movies and making them.
Delta occured to me after I started questioning the validity of philosophical thoughts in real life. I had always been a fan of multiple timelines interwoven together used to create a non-linear narrative, I experimented with the same on this project. I layered the script with visual metaphors in an attempt to convey the mindset of the protagonist to the audience. The process of this film has been very spiritual to say the least, it proved to be an important exercise in visual storytelling for a budding filmmaker like me.
