Film #1

Telmo Ibarburu (Pamplona, 1995) graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and has developed his work in different areas of the film world. His first experience was through the festival industry, where he participated in the Youth Jury at the San Sebastian Film Festival (2016) and Punto de Vista Festival (2021). In 2017 he started working at Arena Comunicación as assistant director and editor. Afterwards, he lived in Madrid and Barcelona, developing directing and production tasks in the field of fiction, working as an assistant in shootings for Disney Channel, Pepsico or Wizzair. He also collaborated in the production of the feature film Que me quiten lo bailao by ESCAC, as well as other participations in advertising shoots and videoclips. He collaborated in the production of Larruajo, a short film by the director Erik Rodríguez, awarded at D'A Film fest. And later in the direction department in the film Te quiero, imbécil by director Laura Maña. He has combined his work in fiction with personal photography and video projects for companies and NGOs, such as Amazon Frontlines, Fundación Alejandro Labaka, Museo CICAME or Museo MACCO. He has also been a professor in audiovisuals for young people in Ecuador. He recently worked in the directing department of the Netflix series You're Not Special. Film #1 is presented as his debut film.
