Anya is a teenage girl living in a remote village, supported solely by her grandmother. Her biggest dream is to save enough money to escape and start a carefree life with her best friend, Pasha. But everything changes when Anya’s estranged mother suddenly reappears — the same woman who abandoned her years ago. Now, she wants to make amends and take Anya to live with her. As buried secrets from her mother’s criminal past resurface, Anya is forced to confront a harsh reality that shatters her dreams and everything she thought she knew about the world.
