Sophie has been watching and making films since she can remember. She currently attends the University of Central Arkansas, studying Digital Filmmaking and French. She has used her time in her program to write and direct films that she cares about, films that she believes speak to issues of the current world, while exhibiting her unique style and talent in storytelling.
I wrote this film much before I produced it. And as that time passed between inception and projection, I began to appreciate a connection between my personal experiences and the events of the script, weaving them together to create the final film you see here. So really, this film couldn't be more rooted in my own experience - truly one of feminine and traumatic power.
