"Father" was created from a single thought.
What if a loved one were to pass away and you haven't told them what was on your mind. In this case, that person is a father.
In the film, a young man in grief tries to return from Bulgaria to his own home country, Greece, after having his father cremated. The weather is inhospitable, it's freezing. The people, don't understand him, he can't communicate. Suddenly, he gets dumped in the middle of nowhere. He decides to walk to the bus station but he gets lost. In his walk, he'll meet a fisherman and his son which by their simple hospitality and innocent chat they will make him question his past relationship with his own father. A simple play will lead to disaster, a disaster will lead to a helping hand and a helping hand in letting go.
Pain will transform to dirt..
dirt to rage..
rage to Forgiveness.
