ARALOYIN OSHUNREMI who plays Stefan in the hit Netflix series TOP BOY, stars as Richard, who is caught between two worlds as he struggles with his identity. Richard finds himself in situations, where his identity is questioned and he will need to work hard to convince his friends, he really is the person he says he is!

Director Biography - Leo Powell

In 2020 Leo entered the world of filmmaking, and in February 2021, he produced and released the BAFTA qualifying short film entitled Step Back.

Step Back has since hit over 2.4 million views on YouTube and has been accepted into a number of highly respected festivals on the circuit.

Step Back was also reviewed by American Television Personality, Comedian and Youtube sensation Gotdamn Zo, and the reviews have shown that the American public have warmed very well to the film and it's messaging.

Building on the momentum of Step Back, Leo was back in the drivers seat in 2021, taking on the role as the writer, director and producer for his second short film entitled Bros for Life, which was released in February 2022.

Again, not resting on his laurels (excuse the pun), Leo teamed up with clothing store Base Childrenswear and through crowdfunding was able to generate enough financing to fund his new short film project entitled Falsehood.

Leo was able to pull together an amazing cast for Falsehood, which stars Araloyin Ohsunremi (Netflix Top Boy) and Ricky Smart (Top Boy Summerhouse). Falsehood also features Nkechi Simms (PRU and Top Boy) and Anthony Adjekum (County Lines, Death in Paradise, The Man who Fell to Earth).

Leo is passionate about storytelling and making films that address societal issues. Through filmmaking, Leo hopes that he can inspire a generation and bring about positive change.
