"Taking this story from page to screen has been a grand adventure into the unknown and I couldn’t have steered this wild ship alone. The craftsmen who lent their help to this flick will forever mean the world to me.
I love movies so much, and all the real filmmakers that have come before us. And it means everything to me to honor that tradition here with you folks tonight.
Taking on the challenge of expanding the page-turning anxiety of Blair Daniel’s Hitchhiker Story and turning it into a fully formed movie lit a wonderful little fire under my butt. It forged new friendships and brought me closer in touch with my mind’s eye.
It’s a tale that dances between reality and the hyper-real world we seek out in movie houses much like this one. It touches on Subjects from Protecting the things you Love to the inner turmoil of PTSD and the Mysterious Power of Premonition.
The only request I have of the audience is to buckle up and surrender your senses to the Strange Tale that is 'Fair Warning'."
