Best Drama, Best supporting actress, Best musical
Lee Galea is an independent filmmaker based in the west of Melbourne. Lee has written, produced and directed four feature films since 2009, including the love story Monster Pies (Winner MQFF Audience Choice Award for Best Feature) and Wizard of Oz inspired The Neon Spectrum (Broadcasted through the nine network in Dec 2018).
After losing my mother in 2016 I wanted to make an honest film about grief. As well as a musical with high quality songs to contrast with the darker dramatic elements of my story.
This film is an amalgamation of all my feature films over the past 10 years with everything I've learnt as a writer and director.
