AS REGARDS THE LGTBQ+ APPROACH:
A large part of the cast and crew identify as queer and are particularly interested in gender theory and practice the reformulation of relationship dynamics. Although the film portrays some explicitly queer situations in terms of romance, relationships, and sexuality, we believe that the film's greatest depth in terms of queer sensibility resides in the theme of circulation. By exploring human relationships within artistic creation groups, the film raises questions about hierarchies, roles, leadership, and the circulation of power and affection—an approach that is both narrative and aesthetic-choreographic: specifically, the circulation of water as a symbol, the movements of bodies within the frame, and the constant exchanges of positions in space, as compositional criteria for the scenes. The narrative of the group rehearsing a play (fiction within fiction) is used as a way of investigating the problem of polarization, fixation, and dynamism in relational choreographies.
