This documentary is produced to render the message of saving Mother Nature, how the people from rural areas are serving for Mother Nature. We all humans do not think about the nature just we are using the resources provided by them.
So instead of cutting them down to the edge of depletion, the rural peoples came up with an idea of saving Mother Nature.
“An event of festivity “they celebrate the saving cause by tying a piece of red cloth to the trees and taking oath not to cut down any of the floras and fauna of the surrounding.
They event is followed by cleaning up of the Alter made in the woods, and after the ritual customs a series of programs are organized to celebrate this big day with fun and tradition .

This documentary is made to incline more and more people to this event to save Mother Nature for their own survival. They devote the piece of land to Mother Nature as preservation. Indeed is a best way the rural people came up with to save the environment and go green to the future.

Director Biography - RAJ KISHOR ARYA

Raj Kishor Arya is an Indian film director, actor and writer. He just finished his masters degree from Ranchi University in Mass Media. In 2014, he made his directorial debut with the Diploma Documentary film Tagore Hill- the palace of peace and his second short film Radio Chacha (2015) that brought him success and fame. A short film Word With Yourself got much critical success, and was declared best film by the Clean India Mission in 2016. In 2018 his short film Guilty won Special Critic Award at Jharkhand International Film Festival and got official nomination for Social Machinery Film Festival, Italy and Acharya Tulsi Short Film Festival, India. He got Golden Beaver Award in National Science Film Festival, 2019 for the short documentary film "Festivity Of Greenwood" which is a great success for his production.

Director Statement

Now a days The declining environment has now become a very serious issue for all, as the beauty or even existence of environment is in big danger due to some objectionable acts of human being on this earth. To enlighten this topic, I have made a documentary film which draw the attention towards festive activities and shows how tribal communities are saving the environment and putting the question marks on us.
