Eva Nel Brettrager is a freelance theatre artist in northeast Ohio. They have an extensive background in directing, stage managing, acting, and lighting design. They previously ran a film company, Evolutionary Productions, focused on music videos, documentaries, and promotional content for Cleveland exclusive companies. Director Statement

Excerpt From Home Movie was originally produced for the 2023 NEOMFA Playwright's Festival, for Eric Mansfield's one act play Home Movie. In the stage production, Four adult children laugh hysterically when they find an old home movie with their parents' names on it, but what they first thought would be an embarrassing bedroom moment captured between their younger parents is instead a shocking revelation leaving each of them with a choice that could destroy their family forever. Excerpt From Home Movie played within the stage production Home Movie, as the siblings viewed the film together on stage with the live audience simultaneously at convergence-continuum theater in Tremont, Ohio.
