Evoloop
On a hostile planet, one of two eggs hatches into a human-like
worm critter. It eats the other egg and continues its journey, devouring everything in its path. The creature quickly
evolves into the alpha beast of its habitat, but very soon finds itself on the other end of the stick, and in the end, all that remains of the once mighty creature is a huge skeleton, inside which two eggs are
awaiting to hatch... life is a circle.

Ville Julius is a Finnish independent filmmaker and animator who is always looking for great stories and other creative people to work with.
Evoloop is ananimation exercise I did at the Turku University of Applied Sciences. It's my first frame-by-frame animation, drawn digitally in Toon Boom Harmony. The original draft was heavily inspired by the literary works of Dougal Dixon, but in the end I was forced to scale-down the project. It's still a crazy ride.
