José M. Delgadillo is a researcher and audiovisual artist born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. He studied the Master of Art at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos. He is the creator of documentary and experimental video and film pieces. His work consists of more than 30 pieces that have been presented in around 40 exhibitions and festivals in countries such as France, Germany, England, Tunisia, Holland, Bangladesh, Russia, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Cuba and Mexico. His poetic and research texts have been published in more than 20 physical and virtual magazines.
His work "XXI" was the winner of the "Panorámic" award at the 2020 Panorámic Festival that took place in Barcelona, Spain, at the Santa Mónica Contemporary Art Museum.
He was the winner of the award for best photography at the Film Festival without Limits with his short film "Lumen Terrae" and his short film "Atmospheres" was one of the winners of the call for "Minute Cinema" convened by the Secretary of Culture of the State of Aguascalientes . Winner of the best short film award at the Tepic International Film Festival.
His most recent film "Symphony of the Invisible" has been presented in Mexico, Cuba, and Argentina, at festivals such as the IN // MEDIA Art Festival, at the Zanate Documentary Film Festival, in the section for the best Mexican documentary feature film. and Enneagrama International Experimental Film Festival.
