"Estrangement" is more than just a film to me; it is a deeply personal exploration of the emotional landscapes that shape our relationships with those closest to us. Inspired by my wife’s experiences with her mother, who suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder, this film aims to give voice to the silent struggles faced by families dealing with similar challenges. Through "Estrangement," I hope to offer a window into the complex dynamics of emotional abuse and the difficult but necessary journey of establishing boundaries for self-care.

As someone who has navigated the painful reality of estrangement, I understand the importance of telling this story with honesty and empathy. My goal is to create a film that not only resonates with those who have faced similar struggles but also fosters understanding and dialogue around the often-overlooked issue of family estrangement. I believe in the power of cinema to evoke empathy and spark conversations that can lead to healing and growth. "Estrangement" is my contribution to that ongoing conversation, and I hope it touches the hearts and minds of all who see it.
