Emma's Fury - Part I

The three Fury of Ancient Greek Mythology brought judgement against wicked humans. The three destroyed each other when one fell in love with a wicked king.

The descendants of the original Fury are ruled by three Mothers. The Fury has lost their original power and can only judge para-normals such as werewolves and vampires.

Emma, a modern-day Fury, was once a wife and mother when her family was killed by a vampire. After her death she became a Fury. Her protector, David, a Gyges, tries to keep her safe.
Because of the destruction of the original three Fury, modern Fury are not allowed to have romantic relationships.

Emma is attracted to David but one or both will be killed if the fall in love.

Emma, with David, pass judgment on a vampire who has taken too many victims.

A dark plot unfolds to destroy most of the Fury and to control the remaining ones by an evil lord.

One of the three Mothers is murdered, a leader of a werewolf pack is ceremonially killed, and other para-normal creatures are taken prisoner or threatened.

Emma must discover the source of the threat and eliminate it before the Fury are destroyed or dominated by the Lord.
Meanwhile, she must handle her growing feelings toward David, while protecting him from the consequences of her love for him.
Emma is conflicted in following her duty, obeying all the Mothers, and her interrelationships with the other Fury.
While, as a Fury, she has access to great energy and power, she is ageless but she can be killed. Copper is deadly to all Fury and limits and controls them.

A young Fury, Sara, with the body of a child, is aided by Emma, as Sara reminders Emma of her now long dead daughter.
Will she be able to find happiness in this eternal venture? Can she discover and turnaround the deadly plot against the Fury?
