Elyze’s Jiguru Song is a fantasy music video set within an enchanted forest world. Carried by a soft vocal performance and poetic imagery, the piece blends nature, melody, and emotional storytelling.

The work reflects the lyrical and spiritual side of Studio Nono’s music-first visual storytelling style.

In a quiet forest bathed in golden light, a young elf named Elyze listens to the voice of a small bird.

Through gentle melodies and whispered pauses, she begins to echo its song—calling, answering, and slowly becoming part of the forest itself.

"Elyze’s Jiguru Song" is a poetic animated music film about listening, connection, and the moment a voice becomes one with nature.

Director Biography - Pai Chen

Pai Chen is a Taiwan-based filmmaker and AI-driven creator, working at the intersection of storytelling, music, and emerging generative technologies.

Blending original voice performance, narrative design, and visual world-building, his works explore how characters can exist and resonate beyond traditional media boundaries. Rather than treating AI as a tool, he approaches it as a collaborative medium—one that allows stories, emotions, and identities to take shape in new forms.

His recent works focus on character-centered music pieces, where voice, image, and narrative converge into a single expressive moment. Elyze’s Jiguru Song marks the beginning of an ongoing series that follows the growth of a voice as it finds connection with the world.

Director Statement

In “Elyze’s Jiguru Song,” I wanted to explore what it means to listen—before language, before intention.

The film begins not with expression, but with attention. A small sound appears, and the character does not immediately respond. Instead, she waits, allowing the space between hearing and answering to unfold.

As the piece progresses, voice emerges gradually—not as performance, but as resonance. The act of singing becomes a form of alignment, where the boundary between self and environment begins to dissolve.

Using AI as a medium allowed me to shape this process gently, where sound, image, and timing can evolve together without force. The goal was not to construct a narrative, but to let a moment of connection take form.

At its core, the film is about a simple transformation: the moment when a voice stops being separate, and becomes part of the world around it.
