Spanish: Una joven descubre un repulsivo cuadro pero una maligna sorpresa le aguarda. Este es el primer cortometraje mexicano y latinoamericano hecho por medio de Inteligencia Artificial. (Por medio de las inteligencias artificiales de DeepDream and EBSynth). También fue grabado con un Iphone.

English: A young woman discovers a repulsive painting but an evil surprise awaits her. This is the first Mexican and Latin American short film made through Artificial Intelligence (DeepDream and EBSynth). It was also recorded with an iphone.

Director Biography - Assur Hussein Avendaño Pastrana

Spanish: Ingeniero en Sistemas Computacionales y titulado de la Maestría en Tecnologías de la Información . Egresa en 2017 de la Escuela de Cine de Morelos y a partir de allí funda su empresa Light And Dreams Machine, productora de films, series de tv, cortometrajes y comerciales. Ha sido director de los cortometrajes: AMOR, AMAR Y CAFÉ, JUSTICIA PARA LOS RICOS-VENGANZA PARA LOS POBRES, JOJUTLA LA LAND, TÚ TAMBIÉN PUEDES SER UN HÉROE, EN BICICLETA A LA LUNA, EL DIABLO ESTÁ LLORANDO, LA OFRENDA, ZOMBITLAN y el capítulo web: LA BRUJA DE LOS COLORES INFINITOS. Todos ellos estrenados en cines.
Actualmente dirige y co-produce la serie web: OBSIDIANA, serie antológica de terror, fantasía y ciencia ficción. Ha sido selección oficial en el Oaxaca FilmFest, Smartfilms, Muestra Audiovisual Xalisco, Festival Internacional de cine Joven Juna Kino y el festival de cine italiano GEOFILMFESTIVAL. También ha colaborado con VFX en cortometrajes y películas como DEATHCEMBER, que han sido selección oficial de festivales como SITGES, FERATUM y JUNA KINO.

English: Computer Systems Engineer with a Master's Degree in Information Technology. He graduated in 2017 from the Morelos Film School and from there he founded his company Light And Dreams Machine, a producer of films, TV series, short films and commercials. He has been the director of the short films: LOVE, LOVE AND COFFEE, JUSTICE FOR THE RICH-VENGEANCE FOR THE POOR, JOJUTLA LA LAND, YOU CAN ALSO BE A HERO, ON A BICYCLE TO THE MOON, THE DEVIL IS CRYING, THE OFFERING and, ZOMBIT the web chapter: THE WITCH OF INFINITE COLORS. All of them released in theaters.
He currently directs and co-produces the web series: OBSIDIANA, an anthology series of horror, fantasy and science fiction. It has been an official selection at the Oaxaca FilmFest, Smartfilms, Xalisco Audiovisual Show, Juna Kino International Young Film Festival and the GEOFILMFESTIVAL Italian film festival. He has also collaborated with VFX on short films and films such as DEATHCEMBER, which have been the official selection of festivals such as SITGES, FERATUM and JUNA KINO.
