Rana Abushkhaidem is a Palestinian documentary filmmaker with a passion for visual arts, archives, and anthropology. She holds a BA in Film Production, specializing in Directing, from Dar Al-Kalima University (2021). Rana has directed three short documentaries: Cinema Al Amal (2024), Wadi Foquin 2021–Deir Hanna 1981 (2021), and El-Halabiyeh(2021), all of which have been showcased at national and international film festivals. El-Halabiyeh won the Audience Award for Best Film at the Davis Feminist Film Festival.
Rana is a founding member of the Palestinian Production Directory and worked as the audiovisual content creator for the Palestinian Museum (2022–2023). She is also involved in the Oral History Project with the Cultural Symposium Club in Hebron and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Creative Practice at Atlantic Technological University in Galway, Ireland.
