Ek Jhalak Ek Aas

Ek Jhalak Ek Aas' is a poetic story that reflects the pain and dissatisfaction of this world through the perspective of a mirror. As the mirror narrates its everyday experiences, it highlights certain events that make its existence feel sorrowful, useless and unwanted. The dust and dirt in the mirror is also symbolical to the everyone troubles of our lives.

At the same time, the mirror also talks about a utopian dream to live in a world full of happiness, confidence and contentment. Where any human that looks through it at his/her reflection there is not a sign of doubt or trouble and always wears a smile of comfort and hope.

Director Biography - Trinayan Sharma

Done the whole videography of the Assamese album Bisaru Tumake , done a short film based on the me too movement called MEETOO ( screened at 15th Asda short film festival and Tefla short film screening ) , done an experimental short film named Fitrat , Produced a few songs as a producer , done a Assamese short film based on the proposed citizenship bill of Assam named Endhar Hobo Nwaru among other works ! Worked in various shorts as a director such as A lonely Night , Main Tarasta Hun , Laaltain , Pishach ( the two face ) , Shit Happens , Nazariya , The Unusual Bet , all available in youtube channel or various OTT platforms
Worked in a few web series like Karma , The Writer Where he has worked with NSD veterans . Also started his own youtube channel Montana Harob TNT with his friend Raj and uncle Allen Mriduel Borah , Do Tarfa Sach was its first product . Also have acted in an Anurag Kahsyap presented docu drama named Lords of Lockdown ! Upcoming project with Amazon prime as a co producer !!!

Trinayan says he met Dev ( the writer and actor ) for another project but he instantly liked a few lines narrated to him by dev and made a decision to make an experimental short . Hence Ek Jhalak Ek Aas was born ! ! !
