Eclosion

“Eclosión” delves into the intricate journey of liberation from the ties and veils that shroud our lives, suffocating us with lancinating subtlety. The narrative takes shape through a seamless progression of images, each one dissolving into the next through chained fades. The use of black and white, the high contrast and the opposition of light and darkness enhance the shapes and the lines of the image.

The musical composition evolves in tandem with the imagery: the harmonies shift, the pitch varies, and the intensity swells and recedes in perfect sync with the visual narrative. Moments of silence and tension are interwoven with crescendos of sound, advancing with a slow and steady pace.

Blas Payri is an audio and visual artist. He has created numerous screendance works, and composed applied and concert electroacoustic music. He is a professor of audiovisual communication at Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain)
