Her whole life, Sol has drawn pictures using her magic chalk without rhyme or reason. It is a day like any other when she meets Luna, a shy girl who also enjoys drawing. Through these doodles, they will soon discover that friendship can be so much stronger than distance itself.

Director Biography - Luisa María Duarte Rodríguez Malpica

Luisa Duarte is a fresh animation graduate who loves to bring people together through their art. They are a firm believer that even if language barriers exist, anyone can enjoy art if they're given a proper opportunity to do so.
Focusing more on directing, they make sure the team is always heard and no one feels left behind, giving way to growth between all the team and no one getting excluded.

Director Statement

Eclipse is our first serious student film which allowed us to grow, experiment and learn what it's like to make an animation that creates an impact on others. We hope audiences can relate to this childhood experience of sharing drawings and doing whatever one can to be with your friends.
