EXMYSTIKA The Legend of the Griffin

The »Griffin« appears in ancient legends as a guardian of treasures and in the noble houses of the Middle Ages as a symbol of power. Depictions show a hybrid creature with the body of a lion, the head of a bird of prey, a massive beak and wings. We encounter this mythical being from the British Isles to Siberia in the art and writings of cultures across the entire Northern Hemisphere. EXMYSTIKA follows the traces of this enigmatic creature that has inspired myths and still leaves questions unanswered.
