"ETERNALLY RECURRENT!"

"Jim Morrison's, and mien...mine, Brian Spellman's favorite philosopher was/is Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, who postulated that after death there would be no afterlife in Heaven/Hell/Purgatory/Reincarnation as someone(s)/something(s) else but a return to birth to relive our lives exactly as we live them today. Walter Kaufman is the leading translator of German to English and Eternal Recurrence first became described in the book BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL. Jim read it in High School, I in College upon reading NO ONE HERE GETS OUT ALIVE by Jerry Hopkins and Daniel Sugarman. "What occurs from love always [transcends?] beyond good and evil. Both of those terms are ubiquitous (generic) and one is rooted in scripture, EVIL, arcane and utilized by the public to distance themselves from anything repulsive to nullify more descriptive ways to better understand our world. Good is even more borrowed as platitude (though being practical, often reasonable). I would go one further by citing Los Angeles poet Charles Bukowski, once saying, "I'm more interested in kindness than love." I for one needed no explanation but should anyone reading here need so, to me says this: "Love is bantered about casually, earnestly, vindictively, of thoughtlessly. It's also an abstract or difficult word to pinpoint or describe because it means something different from each person/people/peoples to OTHERS(S), etcetera. Kindness is tangible, action(s), behavior(s) that can be understood and/or experienced universally (or at least much close to ...), ETERNALLY RECURRENT was done in eight takes by me on January 6, 2011 at my apartment 20,355 Sherman Way #273, Winnetka [The San Fernando Valley {Los Angeles] 91306. The Doors video itself was spliced by me, also, retimed slow/fast etcetera, as was all of the editing by me, alone. Watch closely for the blink and later even harder to time, the wink and the Door's song MY EYES HAVE SEEN YOU was also cut and depieced/refitted to run consistent with my imaginary kinship with Jim, the "alleyways shown was my first apartment finally living alone at 6445 3/4 Troost Avenue, North Hollywood California", 91306 between the 2nd floor 'Efficiency Bachelor Apartment - a 150 square foot 'Casket' and on the other side, THE VENUS FAIRE SHOWGIRL'S Adult Bookstore and Mop-uP department Peep Show (great place for Anthropology!) and finishing OFF Jim's self-describe moniker, The Lizard King, a Komodo Dragon doctored in red (see PEACE FROG). Life was poor as whale shit but never more alive, interesting, and educational than that/then. I was born on January 21, 1960 in Attleboro, Massachusetts to give you timeline perspective. Everyone heard LIGHT MY FIRE {FM Radio 1967, Rolling Stone Magazine 1967, my favorite Doors song HELLO I LOVE YOU 1968 ("Wow, even as an 8-year-old "DO YOU HOPE TO PLUCK THIS DUSKY JEWEL ... HELLO! HELLO! etcetera.) and in 1971,as an 11-year-old, I heard a song that I didn't peg as related to the other two RIDERS ON THE STORM (I remember having thought "Wow, what a cool Dad this guy must be ... wish I was that lucky." I didn't know the name Jim Morrison until I was in college after transferring from Indiana University in 1979-80. I was a 2017 Recipient of The Phyllis Gebauer Scholarship at The UCLA Extension where I wrote the screenplay JUST LIKE YOU under the tutelages of Chry Balis Screenwriter of ASYLUM 2003?7? starring Ean Mc. Kellum and Miramax Screenwriter Don Hewitt. I also refined JUST LIKE YOU at Pierce College under the great advice of Ken Rotcop (see the terrific film THE MEDGAR EVERS STORY on regular network television once a year - Ken wrote the screenplay RIP, a. and I'll miss him.
