ENIGMA - The Fallen Angel
A seemingly perfect, yet flawed young woman has her routine appointment with the town’s most renowned psychiatrist. Turns out, Richa has more than usual to share today. The 60-minute appointment is about to begin now…
Richa Kapoor, hailing from a wealthy background has been suffering from an unusual disorder. She has been treated & experimented with everything to find the perfect cure. However, everything of this has just left her with pain, hopelessness & rage.
Ultimately she leaves on a quest to find one herself which is when Myra Singh enters her life. A stark contrast between both of them unknowingly blossoms into a friendship, which is when Richa plans to confess Myra, the real reason behind her mood swings & erratic behavior.
Richa is surprisingly taken aback when Myra takes all of her pain in an extremely understanding manner & in fact, even has a cure for her. However at what cost?
On a parallel track, Dr. Rajiv Menon has a diagnosis, a reveal that shall rock her to the core.
It is often said that to understand whether a person is good or bad, right or wrong; it should be seen what are the choices he makes when he has to choose between his convenience & morality. ENIGMA is an extremely different take on the real, dark & selfish instincts that reside among all of us. Summing up, we need to understand the great words of Friedrich Nietzsche, “ He who fights his own demons, must take care he doesn’t become one.”

Abhay is a master of extraordinary directorial vision. His first directorial venture - "Enigma - The Fallen Angel" marked him as a rising star among the film directors fraternity.
This short melodrama has won more than a hundred awards (and counting) worldwide. It is critically acclaimed by various esteemed film festivals, including Cannes World Film Festival, New York Film Awards, Falcon International Film Festival (London), Vegas movie Awards, Tagore International Film Festival, Toronto Film Channel Awards, Milan Gold Awards, etc.
'Enigma' stands as a unique and original psychological thriller story that remains a big success in the world of festivals.
Over five years, Abhay has supervised end-to-end VFX production for more than 25 features and short films. These films include Luckee, Khari Biscuit, Rampaat, Super Hit Gujrati Film "Chaal Jeevi Laiye," High Jack, and Ready Mix. As an aspiring director, I was quite selective when picking a narrative to direct. Because I'm a huge lover of suspense-thriller movies, I was seeking for something challenging to make. Enigma - The Fallen Angel came up as a prospective short story for me to film a year ago when Arjun Pradhan and I discussed various short stories. An exciting task and a breathtaking scene were the only things that held it all together for me.
As I read the story, I was struck once again by how engrossing it is. When I first started reading about the psychological concepts, I came across some material that sparked an epiphany for me. It was as if someone had turned on a switch. It is difficult to forget a character who has inherent anguish and her attempt to discover the answers for the same thing. These folks have been forcibly evicted. In order to get home, they are stranded. If caught, they'd be put to death right away. They must invent a new reality for themselves, which will take all of their strength and creativity. It's a wonderful setting for a thriller.
Each and every movie is ultimately about the audience that watches it. It must speak to us in ways that resonate with our own experiences. However, I find it worthwhile to imagine how the first audience saw it.
While I was thinking about this movie, I pictured it in a seedy yet glamorous setting. Furthermore, it's a deadly weapon. Unpredictability, a lack of restraint, and the unpredictability of the search for a cure make it a terrifying place for those who dare to explore.
Take a look at what Enigma – The Fallen Angel is all about with me now.
I'm taking you on a journey through Richa's anguish at having to deal with her inner demons.... A shift toward more difficult forms of art, as well as the surprising twists and turns she has in store.
