Director Biography - A PRAKASH

A PRAKASH – Director/Composer/Producer
I have been in the film and music industry since 2002, working with various performers and exploring diverse genres. In 2022, I founded KSPK PRODUCTIONS to pursue filmmaking, ANIMATE STUDIOS AV to craft video productions and provide BGM and foley, and DARKSTAR MUSIC GROUP to publish my music works.
My directorial journey began in 2023 with Thamizhan, a hip-hop music video. In 2024, I experimented with AI tools for the first time in Intro, sparking a passion for blending technology and creativity. This exploration led to the creation of Mogaasalai (2025), the first Tamil music video entirely generated by AI, where I composed the music and my wife, Kodthay, performed and wrote the lyrics.
Pushing boundaries further, I created En Anbe A.I, the first fully AI-generated Tamil music video, followed by Selamanya A.I, the first in Malay. These milestones gave me the confidence to direct Dreams, my first Tamil AI short film, blending storytelling with cutting-edge AI technology.
For me, AI tools have unlocked a limitless creative playground, allowing me to craft worlds and narratives exactly as I envision them, all while making filmmaking more accessible and cost-effective. My journey is about embracing new technologies to tell unique stories

Director Statement

"En Anbe A.I." is more than just a music video it's a bold experiment and a reflection of the evolving relationship between technology and human emotion. As a filmmaker and composer with over two decades in the creative industry, I’ve always believed that stories don’t just belong to humans they belong to imagination. And today, imagination is powered by AI.

This project represents the first Tamil AI-generated music video of its kind, blending lyrical storytelling, visuals, and music entirely through artificial intelligence tools. From the writing to the vocals to the visuals, every element was generated using AI platforms, yet the heart of the song remains deeply human love, longing, and emotional connection.

With "En Anbe A.I.", I wanted to challenge the boundaries of traditional music video production. Can an AI-generated piece still carry emotional weight? Can it reflect culture, language, and identity? This project answers those questions with a resounding yes. At its core, it’s a love story fuelled not by machines, but by creativity and passion.

This is not just a glimpse into the future of filmmaking and music this is the future. And I’m proud to be at the forefront of this creative evolution.
