90% of this film, in front of and behind camera, was created by neurodiverse and autistic artists at Spectrum Laboratory.
All actors appearing in the film are either autistic, neurodiverse and/ or have down syndrome.
The writers are neurodiverse and Matthew, the head writer, has down syndrome.
Camera is a fully neurodiverse crew.
The Original Score was created by an autistic composer, Atticus Jackson.
The editor, Amos Stillwell, is autistic.

Director Biography - Jason Weissbrod

Jason Weissbrod has been an independent filmmaker for 30 years in Los Angeles. His Directing credits include the award winning short film "Boys Don't Wear Dresses" about a transgender autistic individual search to find love, "Fuzzy Connections", "Spectrum League", "Hands" and more! Jason co-founded Spectrum Laboratory in 2015, a nonprofit that creates original works of film, music and animation with autistic, neurodiverse and disabled artists. (www.speclabs.org)

Director Statement

This short film is 90% created by autistic & neurodiverse artists! In front of and behind camera. It has always been Matthew Von Der Ahe's, (Champions, Weeds) an extremely talented young man with down syndrome, dream to write and star in his own film. He wrote this comedy along with Abe Farrelly and Jason Weissbrod to showcase and embrace the talent in our neurodiverse community. We hope you enjoy, "The Odd Taste!"
