Dragonfly
The plot unfolds in a world where every element of nature possesses its own spirit. A poetic meditation on impermanence, «Dragonfly» observes humanity from a distance while immersing the viewer in the unseen dramas of nature. Through cyclical storytelling and evocative editing, the film transforms time, light, and movement into pure cinematic experience.

The visual execution of this film aims for the viewer not only to witness the story but also to immerse themselves in it emotionally and symbolically. Our goal was to create a cinematic work that transcends being just a film but becomes art, inspiring and thought-provoking.
We distance ourselves from humans and observe them from afar, while nature, and everything associated with it (elements, animals), is brought closer to us.
Just think, how much interesting, challenging, and delightful things happen concurrently with human trivialities... How much drama, how much tragedy, how many lives... And we don't notice any of it.
The drama is built upon an archetypal plot of the dying and resurrecting sun god, which finds its reflection in the fate of a dragonfly.
The editing played the most important role in the film because a complete story was devised during the editing process. Each frame continues the previous one, stitching together the narrative, thus creating the coherence of action and the continuity of movement.
In the film "Dragonfly," emphasis is placed not only on the plot and symbolism but also on the special focus on the daily cycle. Starting from the morning, the viewer is immersed in the world of awakening, full of light and hope. This moment is emphasized with bright colors and the vivid sounds of nature, to convey the atmosphere of a new beginning and possibilities.
Gradually, as night approaches, the film reaches its climax when the dragonfly finds itself trapped by a spider. At this moment, the screen intensifies with dark shades, the sounds of nature become quieter, and the tension grows, as if heralding the approaching darkness.
After the main event, the death of the dragonfly, the film is enveloped in night, where it both darkens and freezes, creating a sense of loss and sorrow.
In the film, every element of nature has its own spirit. Everything is teeming with life, light, movement, which cannot be stopped.
