Say My Name (2023) short film is based on my recent book Sleeping Under the Bridge. I teamed up with Rhoyce Nova, writer and director; Zachary Peel-McGregor, director of photography; and Quinn lead actor and composer to bring my younger life story alive in film. I am hoping that an expert film producer and director will take my story, and coming two books in the trilogy to form a 3-part film series. My story is inspirational providing hope through surviving childhood abuse, dire situations in Australia and overseas in war conflict zones, and further abuse in the Defence forces. It speaks into many peoples lives, into their own stories and to know that we as humans can triumph over anything we set our minds to achieve.
