Federico J. Arioni started making short films with a home camera from an early age, he was self-taught, he was getting new knowledge and new tools to improve, until he made his first feature film: "Por un puñado de pesos", a film of the crime genre, filmed in his city, Neuquén Capital, which was premiered at the local cinema in 2015.
Working hard, with the help of family and friends, he was able to carry out this work, and in the same way, without subsidies or help from organizations , with an essential but reduced team, concluded in 2019 his second feature film: "Nadie está loco", a drama with fantastic and psychological overtones that will also be released in the city where it was filmed, Neuquén Capital.
In 2017 he won the Revelation Award in the 14th Festival de Cine con Vecinos in Saladillo, Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2019 Nobody is Crazy, his second movie as director, won the Best Picture Award in East x NorthEast Film Festival in Newburgh, New York, U.S.A. In 2020 Nobody is Crazy won the Best Picture Award and he won the Best Director Award in Montgomery Film Festival. In 2021 Nobody is Crazy won the Best Science Fiction Film Award in Latino and Native American Film Festival.
