I make short films for fun and art, with the needle moving between the two depending on the story.
The power of cinema compels me :D
"Doctor Ignatius Speculo in 'Sayonara Ex Machina , Monster Bikini'"(1996/December2025) and "Repast"(1996/December2025) were shot and edited on 16mm film (and the sound edited on 16mm mag-stock), with shooting ratios of about 2.5 to 1 ... labor$ of love & pain & learning, lol.
Currently in preproduction on three short films to shoot on digital 4k (unless some patron out there wants to throw me a few thousand feet of 16mm negative raw stock and development and xfer, lol) for 2026:
"Wireless" ($1000),
"Treasured" ($12,000),
and hopefully, in early 2027--
"Doctor Speculo vs. the All-Seeing Eyeball" ($5,000)
Going to be a fun year.
The power of cinema resides in fun and art.
If it is fun, I'll make it.
Know what you now, and know what you don't know.
