A villager is at a stand-off with a mysterious stranger on the last remaining piece of the rainforest. Being one of the last defenders of the rainforest, it is his duty to protect the last bastion of nature (his homeland.) Will he succeed in fending off this vile threat?

Director Biography - Fabian Hee

As a child, Fabian had always loved film. His interest in film was sidetracked in his later youth by the pomp and the rise of video games, leading him to land his "dream job" in the games industry as a Sound Designer. One thing lead to another and he finally rekindled his joy with film after being able to afford his first ever video DSLR camera at the late age of 28. After all these years, his childhood dreams of telling stories has finally begun.

Director Statement

The main idea behind this film was to have a story that was set in our local Borneo rainforest with a new twist on the age old "colonialisation of the natives" narrative.

I hope that this film will evoke a childhood awe and interest in our local culture through visual effects and a unique way of storytelling.
