Do Over
It's never too late for second chances. A woman getting rid of old boxes finds her diary from when she was 11 -- and even worse, her bratty 11-year-old self shows up, demanding to know why she hasn't done any of the things she promised in the diary. Together they go on a quest to make their dreams come true.

Patrice Sarath is a novelist and short story writer, and now filmmaker. Currently a student at Austin Community College, she makes movies about everyday magic -- a changeling girl, for instance, or a time-travel wish.
Patrice's novels include The Unexpected Miss Bennet, The Sisters Mederos, Fog Season, Gordath Wood, Red Gold Bridge, and The Crow God's Girl. Her short stories have appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, Weird Tales, Realms of Fantasy, Black Gate, and Year's Best Fantasy.
She loves books, horses, and the (un)controlled chaos that is a film set.
There's magic in storytelling, whether in the printed word or the wordless image. It's not flashy magic, like special effects. No, it's a quiet magic, but powerful anyway. It's the magic that makes you feel things and not feel sorry for it.
