Director Statement

This film is a collaboration with the writer and actor, Melissa Jane Rodriguez and myself. We have been friends in this industry for a decade. Melissa reach out to me to direct her project. I connected to the story because unfortunately, this story of separation is very common among Filipino families. But I truly love the spirit and heart of the film of stepping up and connecting with your family.
