Dinamo Mesken
In the 1960s, mass housing was built in Ertuğrulgazi district of Bursa. This neighbourhood, where mostly public employees and workers lived, was known as "Mesken". In 1971, the Mesken Sports Club was founded.
In 1980, there is a military coup in Turkey. In those years of political strife and conflict, the team and players were overwhelmed by the detentions and deaths that took place near Mesken. The club was closed down in 1982 for political reasons. Players and members of the club were detained and persecuted.
We listen to the mass impact of the military regime after the coup in 1980, which affected both the neighbourhood and the team, from those who lived through that period.
