Dilemma

Simon is waiting for Shelly to come round for him to surprise her with theatre tickets. Shelly tells Simon she can't make it, that she is seeing someone next Wednesday. A dejected Simon leaves Shelly. The following week, Shelly awaits Sarah's arrival as they exchange words about each other's intentions in pursuing their relationship with Simon. Shelly leaves taking Sarah's phone number. Later that day, Simon travels to the theatre alone. He is surprised to see Shelly turning up moments later. Shelly finds out that Sarah has been contacting Simon and confronts Simon with Sarah's secret calls. An embarrassed Simon reveals his dilemma towards his love for both women and his inability to address this dilemma.

Taking a gap year from University having completed my year 1 of 2 years full time BA Hons in Digital Film Productions from SAE Institute, Oxford. This venture is my first non student film production with Films First Productions.

My vision was to make a film about a romantic dilemma in an individual's life. What motivated me was to work with a script that conveyed layers of predicaments, emotional shifts and the questioning of loyalties based on the changing demands of love.
