A motorcycle trip to this mysterious region of Tibet took place in 2019.

The expedition followed the route of the Russian traveler Gombozhab Tsybikov to Tibet at the beginning of the 20th century. Tsybikov went to Tibet on instructions from the Russian government under the guise of a Buddhist pilgrim. Gambojab took the first photographs of Tibet.
