Director Biography - Özer Arslan

He was born in Adapazarı in 1983. He won the Uludag University Faculty of Business Administration in 2002, could not graduate. After working in theater at Uludağ University Players for 4 years, he won the Haliç University Conservatory Theater Department in 2008, graduated in 20212. In 2010, he founded TiyatroHâl with his friends. He won the best director award at the Setkani Encounter international theater festival held in the Czech Republic with the play “Lacking”, which he wrote and directed. His play "Collar White”, which was staged at the İKSV International Theater Festival in 2012, received the "Best Writer" award in the same season by the Tiyatro Magazine and Direklerarası Jury . In June 2013, she attended the writing workshop organized by The Tell Theater in London. His play “Mute A Little", which he wrote in the workshop, was staged in London. His short film "Sobe", written in 2011, won the 1st prize. ‘Dial-up Sound’ is the director's first short film written and directed in 2022.
