Dhakay Comics-A Brief History of Bangladeshi Comics

Although work on comic books and graphic novels started in Bangladesh in the nineties, after 2012 some talented comic artists and storytellers started working in this field with new initiative to set up this field in Bangladesh. "Dhakay Comics" nonfiction is about how much they have been able to enrich this place in Bangladesh, how much they have been able to expand the market in Bangladesh and abroad and create new workplaces. The film stars Ahsan Habib of Unmad, Mehedi Haque of Dhaka Comics, and Asifur Rahman of Mighty Punch Studios.

This was My First Directed Documentary, back in January 2020. It was My 3rd Semester Student Non-Fiction Film Project with a very Tight Schedule and Budget. I've enjoyed the filmmaking process and learned a lot.
