Sohaila’s directing style can be described as dynamic and bold. She is always keen to try new things and push the boundaries and limits of film-making. She has a clear and honest vision for each project she takes on and delivers on quality every time. Her film work to date can be described as quirky, raw and hard hitting. Sohaila is a natural creative with a daring vision for film and a free flowing desire to create beautiful films, always. She is known for the films ‘Bluebell’ and 'Interviewing Lance Masterson' and ' Deterioration of Man', three shorts she has written, directed and produced.

Director Statement

This was a ZERO budget film.
I wrote this for my friend Graeme, for us to do as something creative after lockdown, to escape and express all the depression that came with it.
Very much a one woman project. I wrote it, directed it, produced it, shot it and edited it. Fun but a hella work. All shot in one weekend in Limerick on my Blackmagic 4k cinema camera.
