Deliver me from nowhere

Marco’s (14) life is divided between the carefree moments he lives at school with his friends and the constant quarrels of his parents. One evening, after finding his younger sister Nina (6) terrified because of the umpteenth fight, Marco will decide to do what may seem a small renunciation, but that will make him understand what it means to become adults.

Director Statement

"Deliver me from nowhere" was my first short film as a director because I felt I needed a certain style of direction to improve the story I had written. The short film tells a theme very dear to me: taking care of the other. Within this story all the members of the family try, in their own way, to take care of each other. In my opinion it is precisely when you start to put the good of others before your own that you begin to become adults. And this is exactly what happens to Marco, who makes a small sacrifice to allow his sister to escape from the daily quarrels between their parents.
