Dear Oliver is a documentary series about what it means to be a father and how the relationship with our own fathers effect how we deal with our own sons and how we can learn to make a difference in breaking vicious cycles in upbringing a new generation of men.

Director Biography - Ben Scharf

Ben Scharf is an international filmmaker, screenwriter and producer. As a director Ben has made various music videos for international artists, commercials, short films and an award winning feature film "Der Abgesang" that premiered at the New York Film Festival.

He teaches screenwriting at SAE Institute Berlin and Filmmaking at Technische Universität in Berlin and holds workshops all over the world.
