Dead with a side of saudade
A poignant and evocative film set against the backdrop of Hong Kong's rich history, the story revolves around two souls from vastly different backgrounds who find solace in reliving the moments that made them truly feel alive.Through its exploration of saudade, a Portuguese word that encapsulates a deep longing for something or someone that is lost, the story follows a conversation over tea between the two reminding them the fleeting nature of life and the beauty that once existed.

Zeed is an Indian Tamil Filmmaker born in Hong Kong who has had a passion for storytelling ever since a young age. Having lived half of his life in Hong Kong, and half in India, he has grown to love unconventional stories of common people. Beginning with writing comics as a hobby, Zeed eventually ventured into films during his university days, and progressed into writing, acting and directing micro-budget films with his non-actor friends. He started winning student film festivals locally and was nominated as a finalist in the Indian Mobile Film Festival (IMFF 2014). Zeed continues to work on other film productions to this day. This is his first self-financed directorial debut in Hong Kong. Currently he has been acting in other projects and hopes to find investors and more creatives to collaborate and work with on his feature film
Part of a feature film anthology comprising seven stories by seven different filmmakers from Hong Kong, with tea, cigarettes and broken lighters in common. Entirely self-funded, made on a minuscule budget.
