A desperate love song to Jakarta. Nocturnal wanderers lost in the maze of sex and religion, culture and loneliness. East and West fuse in the archetypal search for meaning across the many narratives of existence.

Una canción desesperada a Yakarta. Vagabundos nocturnos perdidos en el laberinto de sexo y religión, conocimiento y soledad. Oriente y Occidente fundidos en la búsqueda de sentido arquetípica.

Sebuah lagu putus asa untuk Jakarta. Para pengembara malam tersesat di labirin seks dan reliji, budaya dan kesendirian. Sang Timur dan Barat menyatu dalam penyelidikan makna melintasi banyaknya narasi eksistensi.

Director Statement

We wrote a script about the confusion that is the condition of Westerners in the East. The film turned out to be a little different than the script because we could not raise enough funds. We decided to throw ourselves to the heat and traffic of Jakarta to shoot with a Smartphone and the few rupiah we could spare. We understood that, in this quest for meaning, what we needed was to reach a dead-end.
