Director Statement

Set in Kumaon, Uttarakhand, 'Days in the Forest' deals with the nature of existence around a Himalayan forest. What gives the safety of privacy and relaxation for some is a part of everyday living for others.

The forest offers respite yet it also has its own threats. It is also a film about storytelling and the belief that inside of everyone lies an urge to tell their own stories through their own chosen medium.
