Hot on the heels of his Emerson College education, Patrick Mediate started out as an insatiable Creative Assistant and script reader for Hollywood Producer Marc Platt where he mined and elevated captivating stories from page to the screen. His over 15 years of industry experience shines through in ambitious, original screenplays that fuse old-school film nostalgia with new-school technique and execution. His latest feature length spec screenplays, Soul Passage and Revelatory, have been recognized by over 40 worldwide contests and festivals including Screencraft Horror, The Austin Film Festival, the Creative World Awards and Fade In. Patrick is also co-host of The SCREAMwriters Podcast, the premiere Podcast for established and up-and-coming horror screenwriters.
Aaron McLane graduated from Emerson College in 2006 and has been working in the film and television industry ever since. Starting in practical makeup effects, Aaron made the transition to digital effects, working as a VFX Supervisor for many hit television shows and genre projects like Scream for MTV, and the Heathers TV adaptation, but he is most proud of his work on AMC’s The Walking Dead. Aaron is an award nominated director being twice nominated for IATV awards for his work on the series “BLITZED”, and his award winning short film “GOODBYE!” has shown in festivals across the country. Aaron is also the co-host of The Launchpad Podcast, which has interviewed the likes of Dolph Lundgren, Carl Gottlieb, and Sandy King Carpenter. Aaron is a bit of a B-Movie aficionado who loves 80’s horror, and Godzilla movies.
We invite you to listen to the audio attachment on this project page entitled "Daughters of the Moon (First Phase) - The Screamwriters Podcast Interview Segment" for an in depth discussion on our inspirations and motivations behind the screenplay.
