David M Morizot hails from Florida, but grew up in a variety of places, being raised by a mother who was an educator, an artist, and a writer who was always seeking change and the fresh perspectives that chasing dreams provides. While this instilled a sense of adventure into him at a young age, it also filled his mind with new ideas and the ability to recognize the similarities we all share.

Raised to be a voracious reader, David was also introduced to the Theatre at a young age, which provided not only a release for his creativity, but also became a good way to meet and make new friends. Performing for audiences also helped him understand how “story-telling” is not just a recitation of dialogue, but also a very physical endeavor. He was fascinated at how the physical aspects of an actor’s performance, whether overt and grand or small and subtle, can enhance the story-telling. This realization coincided with his growing fondness and interest in Martial Arts and Martial arts films. David began formal training in Martial Arts at age 13, eventually attaining high rankings in several different Martial Arts Disciplines, never realizing the important role that this training would play in both his private and professional life.
