Director Statement

The film "Dark Corners" is intended to pull you into the mind of a young woman and her survival in a hostile, unpredictable environment amidst a nationwide takeover of her home land. We address the positives and negatives of the family support network, particularly the overprotective older-sibling dynamic and the effects on the younger.

The short is designed to present the violent & hostile story world of a future SVOD series; a smaller piece of a much bigger & scarier picture which focuses on futuristic mental health commonalities (e.g. Schizophrenia), same sex relationships in the military, and society's lack of self-awareness around our personal technologies.
