Born and raised east of Toronto, Canada, Daniela Rojo is a writer, director and cinematographer who advocates for amplifying female voices. Daniela took up filmmaking as a hobby and passion from as young as 8 years old and later went on to study video design and production at George Brown College in Toronto.
Daniela currently works as a Digital Media Producer for TVO, a educational television network and media organization serving the Canadian province of Ontario. She believes in bringing awareness to real stories and taboo topics by making them a fantasy world on screen. In her eyes, film is a vehicle for empathy.
